South East Asia
Ben and Rachel are working in South East Asia, training church planters and aiming at a movement of multiplying churches in Cambodia as well as in other South East Asian countries.ABOUT US
Ben worked at Solid Ground Cafe as a missionary to the young people of Salt Lake City. He also worked with the youth group at Salt Lake Christian Fellowship. Rachel was a stay at home mom and also worked with the youth at Salt Lake Christian Fellowship. Prior to that Rachel was a teacher at Lake Ridge Elementary.
Before launching into the Church Planting Movement (CPM), Ben and Rachel were working at Living Waters Village, a ministry that provides essential care and education for thousands of Dayak tribal children in Borneo.
We are a "love thy neighbor" ministry. We are advocates for children in poverty. We see them as whole beings with bodies, minds, souls and spirits. We see them as unique and precious in God’s sight. We give them an opportunity to learn about Jesus.
“In response to the Great Commission…”
“In response to the Great Commission” makes it abundantly clear that we are not only a social ministry but also a ministry committed to evangelism and discipleship.
The name Compassion communicates that we are a “love thy neighbor” ministry. We look after the health, education and welfare of impoverished children. This aspect of Compassion puts us in the context of “Great Commandment” ministries. We love God and we demonstrate that love by extending care for others.
However, the opening phrase of our mission statement makes it clear that we are also a “Great Commission” ministry, that we are engaged in the proclamation of the Gospel and also align ourselves with Christian mission organizations.

Jamie and I are so thankful our path has crossed with yours. In fact,
we believe it was a divine appointment.
Over forty years ago, an encounter with God changed our lives forever, and we believe He’ll do the same for you. We consider it a privilege to have the opportunity to share the truth of His life-changing power and grace with you.
God called us to teach the truth of the Gospel to the body of Christ with special emphasis on God’s unconditional love and the balance between grace and faith. We are doing our best to fulfill that call by teaching at seminars, in churches, on radio and television, by training others at Charis Bible College, and by developing ministry materials designed to help you in your relationship with the Lord.
If you need prayer, would like to order materials, or have any questions, please call our Helpline. We are open seventeen and a half hours each weekday, and staffed with mature, loving people who want to help.
We welcome you to this ministry and pray that this is just the beginning of a relationship that will help you know and understand our loving heavenly Father in a deeper way.
God Bless You,
Andrew & Jamie Wommack
